These Terms of Service govern your use of the CreditDesk website and application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

About CreditDesk

CreditDesk provides tools to support trade credit decisions, including visibility of credit limits, exposure, invoice ageing and manual overrides. The service is designed to assist human decision-making, not replace it.

Eligibility

  • You must be authorised to act on behalf of your organisation.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Ensure users in your organisation have appropriate access.
  • Use CreditDesk only for lawful business purposes.
  • Ensure you have a lawful basis to process any data you enter or import.

Decision-support only

CreditDesk is provided as a decision-support tool. Credit decisions remain your responsibility. You should always consider context, judgement and up-to-date information when making credit decisions.

Data and integrations

  • You control whether and how data is imported from third-party services such as Xero.
  • CreditDesk does not modify your accounting records or act as a system of record.
  • Data shown may be delayed depending on sync timing and source systems.

Availability and changes

CreditDesk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or discontinue parts of the service over time, particularly during pilot or early access phases.

Fees and billing

If fees apply to your use of CreditDesk, these will be clearly communicated before you are charged. Unless stated otherwise, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable.

Intellectual property

CreditDesk and all associated software, branding and content remain our intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account is active.

Termination

  • You may stop using CreditDesk at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
  • On termination, access to the service will end.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CreditDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue or business, arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
